Jake Loniak, student from Art Center Pasadena, came to
idea to merge both exoskeletons and motorcycles into
one thing called Deus-Ex Machina concept motorcycle
branded by Yamaha. The vehicle will be powered by
ltra-capacitors and doped nano-phoshpate batteries,
similar to those that can be found in todays hybrid cars,
and will be controlled by 36 pneumatic muscles with two
linear actuators set along a spine consisting of seven
artificial vertebrae, with even the helmet pneumatically attached.
If constructed Jake thinks that a speed of 75 mph
can be reached, with reaching a speed of 60mph from
0 mph in 3 seconds. To recharge it will need up to 15 minutes,
and cycle time is estimated to be around 1 hour long.
