The Sarolea SP7 is an electric motorcycle manufactured in Belgium.  It is a racing machine powered by 180 horsepower electric motor. In a 440 lbs (200 kg) machine that equates to a 0-62 mph (100 km/h) time of just 2.8 seconds, and a top speed of 155 mph. As it’s an electric motor all the torque – 295 lb-ft (400Nm) of it – is available from zero rpm, and there is no gearbox or clutch to faff around with. Just twist the throttle and hang on.

The company hasn’t yet announced when or if the Sarolea SP7 will be manufactured as production bike which can be used on the road. Fingers crossed that’s the long-term goal.
