William Shatner went on a journey from Chicago to Los Angeles driving Rivet, futuristic motorcycle, to collect funds to help the American Legion Riders Association that deals with humanitarian work.
Legendary actor William Shatner, probably best known for many years played Captain James T. Kirk in ‘Star Trek’, has joined forces with the American Wrench, and together they designed unusual, so far unique bike that looks like it came out from some cyberpunk film.
It is powered by a V8 engine with over 500 horsepower. Also it features aluminum bodywork that is inspired by the bomber B-17.
At the time he started on June 23 from the American Wrench workshop near Chicago. During the eight-day trip visiting several US cities, follow the legendary Route 66.
He was followed by a team of producers and members of the American Legion Riders.
With Shatner on the development of the Rivet works Kevin Sirotek, owner of American Wrench, in which works as a designer. As He says, they wanted to make a vehicle that ‘connects the driving experience of bikes, sports car and flying.
