Of all the manufacturers of cars that own racing programs, Toyota is no doubt one of the most successful.
Officially premiered, the LMP1 prototype has got a slightly different look and characteristics for the next season. This year, the model will compete in its first “super season”, which starts in May at the Le Mans race and ends in June next year, and is composed of eight races held all over the world.
Developed by the Toyota Motorsport GmbH branch in Germany, the TS050 car comes with a hybrid drive kit of the Higashifuji technical center in Japan, and behind his wheel will be Fernando Alonso in his debut season. The legend of the F1 championship will be joined by veterans Sebastian Buemi and Kazuki Nakajimi, while the other will be Mike Konvej, Kamui Kobayashi and Jose Maria Lopez.
