At the Milano Design Week Toyota brings roadster that is almost completely made of wood.

This odd-looking design is called Setsuna. It has made in cooperation with Toyota and Sumitorno Forestry, who helped with their expertise of wooden structure, as well as about which types of wood should be used.

The car is made of 86 hand-made wooden parts that will change the look of the car as he got older. Toyota claims to have used the traditional Japanese technique to make this car, including okuriari, which makes it possible to connect parts of the wood without using nails or screws.
In addition to wood and aluminum is used for the parts of the wheels, the steering wheel and seats.

The shape of the car should be changed as time goes on. Toyota has built and the clock that does not count the minutes and hours, but years.
