Nissan presented the Cube for the US market on the 2008 LA Auto Show. This odd small box is vying for the similar niche as the polarizing Scion xB. Japanese Cubes are motorized by a 107 Horsepower, 109 lb-feet Torque 1.5L fourbanger built-in to a CVT transmission.
The Cube acquire 37 MPG and has somewhat called e-4WD, which take in an electric motor that kicks in when you need it. A six-speed manual transmission is typical on base models, while a fuel-saving incessantly changeable unit is optional.
Cube is well within reach of many first-time and multi-vehicle-family buyers, with a bottom price of the $14,000.
Nissan is developing a hybrid version, with an all-electric model probable for the 2012 model year.
