Mitsubishi Motors will be unveiled the Mitsubishi e-Yi concept with a plug-in hybrid drive at this year’s Shanghai Automobile Show (April 16-25).
Nevertheless, this is not about the brand new concept of the vehicle, but about the evolution of the Engelberg Tourer concept that was exhibited at the Geneva Fair last month.
The differences between these e-Yi Concept and Engelberg Tourer concept are, interior, color of the exterior and wheels, while the plug-in hybrid drive system involves a combination of 2.4-liter gasoline and two electric motors. The electric vehicle can only exceed 70 km (according to WLTP standards) and the total autonomy is more than 700 km.
Also, the e-Yi Concept has an all-wheel drive system, numerous driver assistance systems, a digital instrument panel, a modern multimedia system, a two-color interior …
However, the Mitsubishi e-Yi concept announces design guidelines for future models of this Japanese brand, among others for the new Outlander.
