Launched last summer in the London area, the G-Wiz is totally emission-free, saving between one and three tonnes of CO2 per year versus polluting internal combustion engine (ICE) cars, making it by far the greenest car on the road. Inside, the London G-Wiz has a DAB radio, Bluetooth phone connectivity and a leather interior. It’s also flaunting alloy wheels and a two-year warranty — a year longer than you’d get with the standard car.
“London has taken the G-Wiz to heart and there are now well over 1,000 on the city’s streets,” said Rudi Schogger, managing director of the company behind the electric quadricycle, GoinGreen. The London G-Wiz is based on an ordinary G-Wiz i, which uses a lithium-ion battery pack. It has a top speed of up to 50mph, has a range of 48 miles and will cost £12,995.
