After almost a decade of dominance in the space of the most expensive and fastest car the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport has now to make way for the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento. However the real trouble is that the $2.92 million Italian car does not meet the safety specifications directed for the US roads to make it legal. Launched as a concept car for the Paris motor show last year, the car with a distinct design and a carbon fiber chassis. Power will be delivered by a highly-tuned 5.2-litre V10 engine which will develop about 600bhp in a car which weighs less than one tonne. Mark Tisshaw from Autocar, said: ‘The Sesto Elemento is a fantastic technical showcase and it’s going to cost an awful lot of money, but Lamborghini will have no shortage of interest.’
