After several announcements and delays, the company Hyperion Motors from California finally and officially presented its super-sports car Hyperion XP-1 supercar.
The premiere was supposed to take place in April at the New York car show, but that event was canceled due to the corona-virus pandemic.
However, the short news states that the Hyperion XP-1 supercar is a super-sports car with hydrogen-electric drive, while this two-seater weighs only 1031 kg thanks to its light construction.
Autonomy with one hydrogen charge, according to the announcements of the American company, is 1016 miles (1635 km).
Acceleration from 0 to 60 miles per hour (100 km/h) takes 2.2 seconds, while top speed is 356 km/h.
Production of the Hyperion XP-1 should start in early 2022, and a series of only 300 copies is planned.
