Citroen is celebrating the 100th anniversary this year and on the occasion of this significant jubilee, it has also prepared several concepts of vehicles.
The first concept had the premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in early March (this is the Ami One concept, a city-powered electric vehicle that shows Citroën’s vision of urban mobility), while today’s promotion had another study.
In front of us is the Citroen 19_19 Concept Vehicle (the general public will be able to see it at the VivaTech event in Paris), and it is a “ultra-comfortable” and fully electric drive with all-wheel drive.
Citroen announces that the new concept will provide passengers with a unique driver experience, including the autonomous driving system, Personal Assistant and Artificial Intelligence.
In addition, the huge wheels of 30 inches (with tires 255/30 R30), so-called suicide doors, full LED lights, a new suspension system with progressive hydraulic pads, as well as a minimalist but modern interior inspired by a living room, stand out. It should also mention individual seats, an advanced head-up display, and the fact that the steering wheel and the pedals pull in when the autonomous driving mode is activated.
Also, the concept is a modified Citroën logo, inspired by the solution from the beginning of this brand.
As far as dimension is concerned, the Citroen 19_19 Concept Vehicle is 4655 mm long, 2240 mm wide, 1600 mm high and has a wheelbase of 3100 mm.
Two electric motors with a total of 340 kW/462 hp and 800 Nm are used for the drive. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h lasts 5 seconds, while the maximum speed is 200 km/h.
The autonomy with a single 100 kWh battery is 800 km, indicating that in just 20 minutes, the batteries on the quick charger will be able to charge as much as to allow a 600 km autonomy.
