Robert Lang has developed an innovative vehicle called Balanced-Over batteries. A good three years of effort and hard work has gone into manufacturing of this ingenious machine, which is manufactured using reclaimed parts.
The vehicle will have its name from the fact that batteries are slung under the single-passenger cockpit. During cornering the batteries act as a counterweight to the leaning of the vehicle’s passenger compartment – up to 45 degrees in a tight turn! This clever balancing act means that no power steering is needed and the wheel can be switched easily from side to side with the palm of the hand.
The B.O.B. car is a single passenger vehicle with batteries located just below the cabin. The hi-tech cars today come with power steering facility, but the inventor has the same simple balance of batteries.
Each rear-end integrates two computer sync engine with chain drive. The car comes with two speeds can be achieved by simply changing the voltage between 36-72 volts. These recycled parts, helped to keep costs as low as $ 500
