The BamTrike appears to be a well thought out idea, at least for a short distance personal mobility vehicle. Besides sporting a really unique form, the most intriguing part of this concept is the usage of Bamboo as a building material. The design comes from Alexander Vittouris, a student at Monash, and more improvements and updates to the project may be forthcoming.
Usage of bamboo as a construction material automatically gives the trike an environment friendly badge, and the fact that woven bamboo compares structurally to fiberglass, helps elevate some safety concerns.
The rider of the vehicle gets to sit in a comfy reclined position and the side storage pockets are sufficient to carry your personals.
