Audi will present two futuristic concepts this year at fairs in Shanghai and Frankfurt (Audi Aicon and Q4 E-Tron), and one of them will provide an insight into the future of Audi’s design.

“We have concepts such as the Q4 E-Tron that are more or less ready for production, and then we have cars that are 10 or 15 years ahead, such as Audi Aicon (in the picture). We will present one in Shanghai and the other in Frankfurter, “said head of Audi’s design Marc Lichte for Autocar.

Audi Aicon Futuristic Concept

Lichte explained that the E-tron GT and Q4 e-tron show the next generation of designs that will appear in three years. However, the concept that will be presented at the Shanghai Fair in April announces a step forward after that.

“In Shanghai, you will see a vision of an electric vehicle in ten years, and you will see the next step in the design.” The concept will also demonstrate Level 4 autonomy that will affect the exterior change, and this car will give you the idea of how the inside of a car can be in the car without a driver. ” Lichte.
