Owners of the 2004 Buick Rendezvous marvel at how this vehicle makes sure of a safe and convenient travel. However, it is understandable that most vehicles no matter how great they may seem always have its own share of downfalls.

Browse on some of the downfalls and get a fair insight before finally making a decision whether or not to purchase one.

Owner 1 – I was driving fine when at around 32k miles, I noticed that the transmission started to slip. At 34k miles, I heard groaning noises from the differential every time I made a slow turn. I had no other choice but to have it replaced. Maintenance can be quite expensive. I paid $185 to get a fluid flush of the differential. At around 40k miles, the computer suddenly died. I could no longer start the car. The option I got was to have it towed and get the computer reprogrammed.

Owner 2 – All I can say is the 2004 Rendezvous have huge side mirrors. Now, I find it hard to check cars turning towards me. The brakes can also seem very awful at certain times.

Owner 3 – My 2004 Buick Rendezvous is great but I will have to complain about three things – the lights, the back hatch and the cargo area. First of all, let me tell you that I am very happy with the lights having its own “auto” feature. But then again, there are times when I just want to drive without having to switch the lights on. The vehicle gives me only two options – auto and on. I think it would have been better if an “off” option was also available. Apart from that, the back hatch also releases squeaks from time to time. The noise gets even more audible when the radio is turned off. The rear seats fold down eating up most of my cargo space.

Owner 4 – For me, the huge side mirrors seem to be a problem. The 2004 Rendezvous got the biggest side mirrors that I have ever seen so far. Apart from that, backing up can be difficult especially when the driver is short. Short drivers will have a hard time seeing what’s behind them. Whenever I back up, I rely on my side mirrors instead.

Every vehicle will have its own set of positive and negative reviews. Be sure to check out online reviews before finally making a purchase. A lot of vehicle reviews can be found online. These reviews will help you decide whether or not buying the 2004 Buick Rendezvous will be a wise decision or not.
